Review of ProfiMail from Lonely Cat Games
The contemporary life goes by in dynamic and furious pace. Not always we have a possibility to use the PC for current problem solving. And here our Smartphones come to rescue us.
I’m talking about the popularity of e-mail client applications, which allow reading mails on go, sending texts with attachments, etc. We thank support department for sending us the license version for making the review.

The license version is easily installed when properly following the instructions during the installation process.
ProfiMail – the trial period of this application lasts 10 days.
The main screen contains your mailboxes and two system folders for Sent and Saved items.
Left soft key Menu contains the following buttons:
• Open
• Account
• Update mailboxes
• Tools

• Exit
Starting the ProfiMail application you can see the following screen:
To create new account you have to click left soft key Menu → Account → New and fill in the following fields:
• Account name – to enter name of the new account
• E-mail address – to enter e-mail address associated with the account
• Display name – to enter name which will be displayed as sender name in messages that you send
• Mail server type – to select type of the incoming mail server
• Incoming mail server – to select server for incoming mail messages
• Outgoing mail server – to select server used for sending mail
• Username – to enter username used to log on to your mail or smtp server
• Password – to enter password used to log on to your mail or smtp server
• Get entire message – if checked, entire messages are downloaded during mailbox update
• Include in Update – if enabled, this account will be updated when performing “Update mailboxes” from Main screen
• Send Bcc copy to – to send hidden copy of sent messages to specified e-mail address
• Advanced settings – for advanced account configuration
Having created at least one new account the main screen will have the following view:
Choosing left soft key Menu of this screen you can perform the following actions:
• Open – to open the current mailbox or account
• Account – to create new or edit/delete the current account
• Update mailboxes
• Tools
• About
• User manual
• Exit
During mailbox update, ProfiMail first sends messages ready for sending, then it checks for messages on server, downloads new headers (or entire messages, depending on configuration and Rules), and finally it deletes messages on server which are marked for deletion.
Having updated the mailboxes, the main screen has the following view:
When you open message, you get into message reader, where you see message title (sender name and subject), and message body:
Left soft key Menu contains such buttons as:

To create new message you have to click left soft key Menu → New message:
Here you have to add at least one recipient to whom the message will be sent, or you can type e-mail addresses manually, or you can use Address book to select recipients.
Left soft key Menu allows to perform the following actions:
• Send – to send the current message
• Save as draft – the message is remained in mailbox until it is sent or deleted
• Edit – here you can cut, copy or paste parts of the message
• Add attachment – to add attachment to the message
• Add recipient
• Priority – to set priority of sent messages to High, Low, or Normal
• Signatures – allows you to enter predefined text into message you write
• Cancel writing
Having added an attachment it can be viewed in the Message screen:
ProfiMail offers the following list of settings:
• Access point – Internet access point to use for connection
• UI font size – font size used for user interface
• Text font size – to select font used when displaying texts
• Show message preview – to enable review of message in mailbox browser
• Show data counter – if enabled, data counter is displayed when sending or receiving data
• Date format – to select how date is displayed
• Keep connection – if checked, connection will be kept active while program runs, otherwise connection is closed after short time
• Connection time-out – time after which non-responding connection is closed
• Send immediately – if enabled, messages are sent immediately, otherwise they’re queued and sent when updating mailbox
• Save sent messages – save messages that you sent to the Sent mailbox
• Auto-update time – time period, after which accounts are automatically updated
• Notification sound – to select sound played when new messages are downloaded from mail server
• Notification volume – to select volume of notification sound
• Download HTML images – to download images in HTML messages from the internet
• HTML images scale – to select scale of images in html text
• Show Saved/Sent mailboxes – to show special Saved and Sent mailboxes in the list of accounts
• Language – to select application language
• Color theme – to select color variation used in the program

Not using any e-mail clients before, I want to say that ProfiMail is very easy and interesting in use. It combines nice interface, comprehensible menu, and various features for convenient application usage.
Settings options offered by ProfiMail allow you to modify the application to your own wishes, so that you can change even the color of the application interface. The structure of the screen allows to see the list of the messages together with the part of text of the current message. All these facts attract users, that is why the application is very popular among wide range of users.
