Review of myLook from BITWEEN
Last month BITWEEN company has released the myLook software that can change wallpaper images automatically. Yet this is the only known to me software of such kind for Symbian 60.3 mobile phones. That is why we decided to make a review of this application, not a comparison in this case.
myLook has been designed to provide the opportunity to automatically have your mobile’s wallpaper become a creative, functioning calendar.
Here is brief information about the application to be analyzed:
| App name | Vendor | Price | Size, Kb |
|---|---|---|---|
| myLook | BITWEEN | Buy $12.95 | 101 |
We analyzed the following list of aspects and application details:
• Installation
• Trial period
• Interface
• Settings
• Help and Support
• Application in action
• Special features
The trial version of myLook is installed in course of a couple seconds not causing any difficulties.
The trial period of the myLook application is not indicated. I wrote an e-mail to the support department with the question about the trial period, but they didn’t answer.
The main screen of the myLook application has the following view:

To start using this application you have to click left soft key Options:
• Schedule
• Help
• About
• Exit
Unfortunately myLook application offers no settings options, so you won’t have opportunity to modify the application much.
myLook application has the Help file, which can help you with the information it contains; it has an e-mail (mylook@bitween.com) to contact a developer in case of any questions or suggestions.
Having waited for about two business days, we didn’t receive the answer to our e-mail.
To start using myLook application you have to click left soft key Options → Add image:

From the list of the available file you have to select the needed one.
Having made your choice the selected images are listed in the main screen:

Afterwards you will have to choose the interval of the images appearance on the mobile screen:

When having adjusted all the options needed for application functioning, the chosen images will appear on the mobile screen with the selected interval:

myLook contains no special features, just options needed for application functioning.
In my opinion the idea of this application is very interesting. But it still needs to be improved with special features implementation, such as images resizing, more enhanced schedule, pictures rotation rules etc.
Applications of such kind are aimed at young audience. I guess that such apps as myLook should be designed in the way to give users possibility for their fantasy in composing the personalized wallpaper presentation.
