How to set up your mailbox
If you want to send or receive e-mail messages, you have to set up your e-mail account.
To do this, select Menu → Messages → Options → Settings → E-mail:

• My e-mail address – to enter the e-mail address
• User name – to enter the username for the e-mail service
• Password – to enter the password for the e-mail service
• Incoming mail server – to enter the name of the remote server that receives your e-mail
• Outgoing mail server – to enter the name of the remote server that sends your e-mail
• Access point in use – to select the Internet access point your device should use when it retrieves the e-mails

• Mailbox name – to enter name of the new mailbox
• Mailbox type – here you have to choose the type of the mailbox between POP3 and IMAP4 (POP3 is a version of the post office protocol that is used to store and retrieve e-mail or Internet mail messages. IMAP4 is a version of the Internet message access protocol that lets you access and manage e-mail messages while the messages are still on the e-mail server)
• Security (ports) – to select the security option used to secure the connection to the remote mailbox
• Port – to define a port for connection
After being correctly created, the e-mail account is ready to connect to your mailbox:
E-mail settings always depend on the operator. So to know what settings you need, you have to contact the operator, or to look for the settings on the operators website. Sometimes the right settings are sent via SMS and installed automatically by the phone.
