How to adjust joystick functions on Series 60.3 phones when the standby mode is Off?
Standby menu (active idle) represents the quick start menu of the applications on the display of the mobile phone.
If you wish to adjust active standby mode choose On in the Active standby option; to do this you should select Menu → Tools → Settings → Phone → Standby mode → Active Standby.
But if you select Active standby → Off, you will be able to adjust the joystick functionality. In this case the following buttons will be available to change the applications that open when you scroll to different directions:
• Navigation key right
• Navigation key left
• Navigation key down
• Navigation key up
• Selection key
Thus you can assign any available application or function to your joystick even when your active idle screen is not visible.
